LOCAL FIRM HELPS HIGH SCHOOL TO STAY SAFE
Warrington based firm Protive Security and Surveillance Ltd have recently completed a total overhaul of the security system at Latchford’s Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School.
Protive designed a bespoke, comprehensive system to ensure that the school remains protected against vandalism, theft and other threats during the day and outside school hours. The installation included a high-tech CCTV system that is monitored off site, External High Speed Dome cameras, detection devices and a tannoy system, so when people enter the site without permission they can be challenged or warned off by a central station of Security Guards.

Simon Taylor, Site Manager at Sir Thomas Boteler High School said, ‘Our old system was out of date and we needed to install something much more comprehensive and up-to-date. The safety of our pupils and the school are paramount and the new system works well in helping us to protect them.”
Protive have recently carried out a number of projects around the North West including work on the Cockhedge Shopping Centre, Halton Lea Shopping Centre, The Imperial Hotel and a number of pubs and clubs Bridge Bar and No 15 Cairo Wine Bar.
Shaun Ryan, Protive’s Managing Director, said; “I am delighted that Sir Thomas Boteler asked us to carry out the work. We are a local company and are always pleased when we are approached to work on projects in the Warrington area, especially when it means keeping children and their schools’ safe.”
Protive have also involved the services of two other local firms for the new security measures, keyholding facility and alarm response by North West Security Guards Limited and a remotely monitored CCTV station by Visual Verification Ltd.
